Since the weather's been better, I've been going out and shooting more... It's really great but I've been finding myself too tired to update my blog.

:(

Not good.

This week, I will try to be better at it.

Anyways, my friend invited me to go to an Indian Festival last Saturday. It is called "Holi". It is a celebration usually held after a full moon in early March to celebrate the coming of spring and good harvest. It is a fun celebration filled with music, dance and bright colors.

We had such a blast at the festival! Everyone was just in a playful fun mood. And my friend Prab just worked the crowd such that by the end of the festival we had so many email addresses of people that want to get in touch with us for their photos.

My friends and I also tried taking photos of light trails with the Chicago Cultural Center as the background.

Here are some photos from our experiment.

My friends and I went to Millennium Park last Saturday. It was cold but that did not stop us from risking getting wet to get our jumping silhouette shots. :)

Last weekend, I went to Gary, Indiana with photographers from the "Cristoph, Art of Seeing" meetup group. We went to City Methodist Church, which was built in the 1920's and closed 1975. It's been left to decay ever since.

Even in the midst of ruin, one could still see and appreciate the beauty of this old abandoned building.

As my friends and I are going through the place and were taking photos of what's left behind, I can't help but think of the weddings, baptisms and other celebrations that were held here. I also can't help but feel sad that such a gem was left to decay.

Last Saturday, I went to a flash photography workshop taught by Pete Tsai. I had a great time and I learned a lot that day.

And... I was able to took some photos I really ♥.

Robbie was our model that day. I just love, love her look and her energy.
